Information we collect

When you submit a booking or job application, we collect the information you provide directly, which may include:

• Your name, email address, and phone number
• Your service address and any access notes you share (gate codes, parking, pets, etc.)
• Details about the service you're requesting (property size, rooms, preferred schedule)
• Payment card information, collected and tokenized by our payment processor, Square, we do not receive or store your raw card number

How we use it

We use this information to:

• Review and fulfill your booking request, and assign a cleaning professional
• Contact you about your appointment by email, text, or phone
• Process the authorization hold and, once your appointment is confirmed, the charge to your card on file
• Respond to job applications, if you apply to join our team

Who we share it with

We don't sell your personal information. We share what's necessary with the service providers that help us operate:

• Square — processes and stores your payment card securely
• Resend — delivers our booking confirmation and appointment emails

We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect the safety of our customers, staff, or the public.

Cookies and tracking

We don't currently use third-party advertising trackers or analytics cookies on this site. Some pages use your browser's local storage for basic site functionality.

Data retention

We keep booking and customer records for as long as reasonably needed to provide our services, maintain accurate business records, and meet legal or tax obligations.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information. To make a request, email hello@kinfolkcleaning.com and we'll respond as promptly as we can.
